Overnighter...On a School Night...at the Aquarium???

Yep! Last night Luke and I had the opportunity to stay the night...at the aquarium. Like as in literally slept in sleeping bags on the floor amongst the fish tanks, jelly fish, and the really cool leafy sea dragons.

What could be better in an 8 year olds life....all while on a school night? I must say I do not think I ever slept anywhere other than my own home on a school night growing up... ;)

Cute pics. My son did that when he was 8, too, w/ the Cub Scouts. Luke looks so much like my husband when he was a boy :-)

That sounds so cool. I would love to do something like this myself, spending the night there, looking at everything, falling asleep in such an enchanted place.

But did YOU get to sleep at all? the kids must have been so excited!

Nan, very little sleep... just a sore neck ;)

Monica, that is funny. He is the spitting image of Toby with a few of my childhood freckles sprinkled in. :)

Sounds like fun!! I don't remember doing anything like that on a school night either - although some of the kids I know have been on a field trip to the dinosaur museum and slept overnight there!

Oh my! HOW COOL! I can only hope an opportunity like that is available when Jett is older, he would be beside himself!
Such a cool night that I am sure Luke will never forget!

I just found your blog through another blog, isn't that how these things work? The internet is absolutely amazing. And so are your boys. I will be watching them grow and I thank you for your courage to share them with me.
