Lost My Groove

I haven't posted lately...I lost my groove I think. Actually, I guess I got the wind knocked out of me so to speak when I learned that Reid's little friend Zoey is now battling leukemia and then learning that our littlest buddy will have his second heart surgery December 2nd. I have gone into numb mode I suppose, which has been taking turns with task mode...trying to check off my list all that needs to be done before going into the hospital.

But, this post is an attempt for me to pull out of it... to take life by the lapel as the quote below suggest though really I feel like life needs to take me by the lapel right now... but I'm working on getting my groove back.

Just remember, Cheri, you are not on your own.

I suppose that knowing the date of the surgery makes it more real. Yet, knowing is better than not knowing... and then there is AFTER the 2nd Dec. and all the great stuff that will go with it.

So welcome back! :-)

Don't forget, you have lots of cheerleaders and prayer warriors! :)

My heart goes out to you. Luke is nearly 10 months old with a hole in his heart that will probably need surgery at some point in the future. I can only imagine what is going through your mind, but it will soon be over, and Reid will bounce back better than ever :) I am thinking of you.

Feel badly I haven't contacted you lately, have had a house full of sick kiddos... sigh!
Hang in there Cheri, Reid will do wonderfully during his surgery and PLEASE post so everyone will know and keep the prayers coming!
I just love your little guy and all of you as well!
