I should let WiiBoy make some dinners here. Although he did help me make pizza yesterday. he would seriously LOVE making his own drink concoction.
You know, he has a similar problem with his tummy. He doesn't mention it much so I don't either. His tummy has always been distended (possibly bowel trouble) but now he has some bad eating habits that compounds the issue.

It's never easy, eh??!!

I think I could benefit from your science experiment too! xx Jazzyjazzygalhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04069218745940412457noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6498941347207789497.post-6261822917521810542010-07-28T07:45:54.035-07:002010-07-28T07:45:54.035-07:00Way to go Luke! I think I need to encourage him to cut those back.

I loved your idea of having Luke cook dinner one night a week - it looks like he made a great dinner! You are such an amazing mom Cheri!Heidihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13884926543146157724noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6498941347207789497.post-40052163321002939772010-07-26T13:54:46.944-07:002010-07-26T13:54:46.944-07:00Unfortunately, a lot of kids, young kids, are worr...Unfortunately, a lot of kids, young kids, are worried about their weight, and these are the ones who don't need to. Hence a whole generation of soon-to-be starved (= anorexic) adults is growing up.

And then there are those whose parents SHOULD seriously look at their kids' diet: the rate of obesity in the western world is catching up on those young ones too, and fast.

It's all a question of balance. Great lesson for Luke here! Brilliant idea.

And that kid has style: Champagne glasses??? Of course!Nan P.https://www.blogger.com/profile/15048214158269327225noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6498941347207789497.post-6734404862511167802010-07-26T09:52:48.457-07:002010-07-26T09:52:48.457-07:00I love all these pictures and again find myself wi...I love all these pictures and again find myself with tears in my eyes reading your blog. I also know some kids that were a little chunky in elementary school and then thinned out as they started growing taller. I know how mean kids can sometimes be and it breaks my heart for sweet Luke to be called names by them. How great he is into cooking and took your challenge-good for him. I need to cut the sweets myself LOL!Glogogohttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16750637097750423828noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6498941347207789497.post-34696672053961188142010-07-26T07:50:48.110-07:002010-07-26T07:50:48.110-07:00My little Carter, my athletic, can't sit still...My little Carter, my athletic, can't sit still Carter, is just a thick boy. My other boys are so skinny, and I always wonder why he isn't. But I think its just body type, not fat!Laceyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03321275110857561824noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6498941347207789497.post-48153692098608593972010-07-26T03:49:36.917-07:002010-07-26T03:49:36.917-07:00Love the "Einstein pic"...hilarious! :)...Love the "Einstein pic"...hilarious! :)Looking Uphttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00622397350942965771noreply@blogger.com
